In a courageous move, realigned her practice from Bharatanatyam to Sadir, to build discourse around the history of the form, its subaltern narratives and future course of action including acknowledging hereditary artistes and inclusive pathways. Through her doctoral research and FROM THE ATTIC, a performance-exhibition-lecture-blog series she brings out the polyphonic nature of Sadir from its Early Modern History and what it means to practice a form that has connected histories and shared encounters with many cultures.
